Concurrent evaluation will take place within and between states, and within and between institutional partners. The sample beneficiary households will be studied at 2-3 intervals after SoULs are distributed.

The study will measure the following:

• Impact of SoUL on the beneficiary households
• Performance of SoUL and repair and maintenance service
• Assessment for other renewable energy products at the domestic level
